The British neon artist Chris Bracey is one of our favorite artists. Bracey's work is exuberant and carnavelsque—he brought artistry and creativity to the craft of neon sign making. Bracey began his career making signs for London's Soho sex shops, then made works for various films including Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut. He ran a warehouse with a large collection of neon sculptures and signs, God's Own Junkyard, in Walthamstow, London, which is still operating today although Bracey passed away in 2014.
We love Chris Bracey's work—Curio Concept Store is the happy home of two of Bracey's pieces.
